There are two paths to building applications that leverage The Open Application Network. In this section we break down why you may want to use The OAN, as well as identifying a path for you.
Why build an open app?
Open Applications all share a common source of truth for assets. This means that when you build an Open Application that leverages The OAN, your application is interroperable with other Open Apps.
For example, if you build an app that rewards students for good grades, those rewards can be used elsewhere in an open market for trade.
These are APIs that make getting started much easier. We’ve done a lot of heavy lifting to build, test, and abstract a lot of your build.
This is a path for experienced developers who are familiar with blockchains, smart contracts and web3 development.
